Healthcare Consultant for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

We are seeking a Consulting License Practical Nurse to oversee the health and wellness of individuals with intellectual disabilities in residential group homes. As a key member of our team, you will work under the directive of the RN to support Direct Support Staff and Approved Medication Personnel.

The LPN will be responsible for monitoring compliance with medical appointments and follow-ups, as well as medication and treatment regimens for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will also observe and report any health and safety concerns to the RN and administer medication as needed.

A critical aspect of this role is reviewing, auditing, and maintaining individuals' medical records. Additionally, you will provide training to staff in areas of nursing care under the supervision of an RN.

Requirements
  • Covid-19 vaccination required
  • 1-2 years of RN experience preferred
  • Valid NYS RN license in good standing required
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills essential

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Location: NYC area. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract top talent.
