Masking Technician I

We are seeking a skilled Masking Technician I to join our team at Mayday Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for masking parts using various types of masking tapes and techniques, following detailed drawings and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mask parts using various types of masking tapes and techniques
  • Remove masking after processing and touch up organic coatings as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements:

  • High-level attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to communicate in English verbally and written
  • Perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to solve practical processes or procedural problems/issues

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a manufacturing/processing environment with some exposure to processing elements such as noise, temperature, and chemical processing materials. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and required to be worn at all times.

Shift Schedules:

  • 1st shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm
  • 3rd shift: 10:45pm - 7:00am
