* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
* Maintain accountability for meeting the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients
* Perform unit documentation in a timely, accurate, and concise manner
* Maintain effective communication with the patient care team and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in the development and attainment of unit and departmental goals and standards
Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing
* Current LPN licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nurses
* Recent appropriate nursing practice or refresher course within the past six months
* American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
* Unit-specific certification as required
Working Conditions:
* Works in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and multiple crisis situations
* May be exposed to communicable diseases and hazardous materials
* Expected to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
* Standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods
* Heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
* Requires appropriate listening and speaking skills to converse with patients, staff, and physicians
