Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Artist to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. This individual must be creative, motivated, and dedicated to growing their talents in the kitchen. Successful candidates will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn and develop skills in menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Your Role

As a Culinary Artist, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods, including grilling, sautéing, and frying. You will work closely with the Chef to create menus that reflect seasonal availability and the concept of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, and marinating ingredients
  • Operating kitchen equipment, such as knives, grills, and fryers
  • Assisting the Chef in production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining
  • Maintaining a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly
  • Being responsible for the quality of ingredients
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant. Ideal candidates will have experience with banquet preparation and service delivery, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and work on feet for an extended period. Strong communication skills and time management abilities are also essential.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $23.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
