We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis, working evenings and nights. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:- Fills orders with accuracy and checks technician-prepared products before release.
- Maintains security of pharmacy and controlled substances.
- Enters orders and patient information with accuracy.
- Aids in the training of new staff and updates the Director on daily pharmacy activities.
- Assists the Director in maintaining the pharmacy and supervises activities of support staff.
- Reviews patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy, preventing significant drug interactions and avoidable ADRs.
- Provides drug information and serves as a hospital resource for drug-related inquiries.
- Participates in drug inventory control and formulary management.
- Generates reports and completes clinical functions related to patient care.
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- One to two years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Current MA Pharmacist License.
