Mental Health Recovery Coach

Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Mental Health Recovery Coach to join our team. As a Mental Health Recovery Coach, you will be responsible for providing peer support services to members of the community. This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will be willing to obtain the Intentional Peer Support Specialist Certification within the required timeframes and demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate collaborative activities to build recovery skills
Provide compassionate advocacy
Be a respectful role model demonstrating integrity
Adhere to agency policies and procedures in order to show AMHC's focus on excellence
Work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of our clients and focus on their need for service
Requirements:
A high school diploma is required
Must be receiving or have received services
Must be willing to self-identify
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Salary:
The salary for this position is $34,600 to $41,500 per year, based on work experience.
