MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to fill a travel position in a top healthcare facility.

Job Requirements

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Work effectively to maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
