As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for scheduling, performing, and recording all required inspections for installed projects, adhering to each jurisdiction's regulations.

This position requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as excellent communication skills to offer exceptional customer service and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

The Solar Inspection Specialist will work closely with customers and jurisdictions to coordinate inspections, maintain a well-organized calendar, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. You'll also utilize software systems to record, maintain, and update project-specific deliverables and tasks.

A successful candidate will have previous PV design, installation, or electrical experience, with a minimum of one year of field construction experience. The ideal candidate will be 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record. They will also adhere to company safety policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safety and a willingness to encourage others to work safely.

The physical demands of this role include the ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, transport materials and equipment, and work in confined spaces. You'll also need to work in outdoor weather conditions, including excessive noise, extreme temperatures, and wet environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform solar, electrical, or building inspections as scheduled.
  • Coordinate inspections with customers and jurisdictions.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient calendar.
  • Build a positive and lasting customer experience.
  • Use software systems to record, maintain, and update project-specific deliverables and tasks.
  • Complete unforeseeable minor punch list items.
Qualifications:
  • Previous PV design, installation, or electrical experience.
  • Minimum of one year of field construction experience.
