Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse-FT Days-Healthcare Professional

The Advanced Practice Nurse-FT Days-Healthcare Professional is a critical role within RWJBarnabas Health, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advancing innovative strategies in healthcare. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides medical assessments, treatments, and clearances for RWJBH applicants, team members, constituents, and external customers.
  • Serves employees and provides timely evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries, illnesses, and exposures.
  • Performs clinical care professionally, serving as a customer advocate and role model.
  • Evaluates current protocols and standards of care for translation of best practice into clinical practice.
  • Supports the development of evidenced-based practice protocols and standards of care that include interventions and treatments to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practical Nurse required.
  • Master's degree, MSN, MPH, MPA, preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of direct hands-on experience working in occupational/employee health, primary care, and/or urgent care settings, required.
  • Department of Transportation, DOT, Certification preferred, without DOT certification, must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • BLS-CPR and ACLS Certification.
