We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join our team at Gundersen Lutheran Administrative. This is a part-time or full-time position offering day or PM shifts with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team by passing instrumentation, equipment, and supplies accurately and efficiently.
- Display understanding of anatomy and physiology, the pathological condition affecting the patient, and the planned operative procedure.
- Function under direct supervision of a circulating nurse and physician, with good interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 80% of work time when performing technical tasks and anticipating surgeon's needs.
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- 1st Surgical Assistant trainee program.
