Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineering (SSE) Anti-Tamper (AT) professional to join our team. As an SSE AT specialist, you will be responsible for executing AT programs, serving as a direct interface during critical reviews, briefings, and technical exchanges, and collaborating with customers and other engineering disciplines to ensure program-level chief engineers and architectures meet program needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement SSE AT solutions into RTX products
  • Interact with customers to define SSE AT requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
  • Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
  • Plan and guide SSE AT implementations in customer systems
  • Consult and assist program line management with SSE AT architectures and issues
  • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
  • Developing top-level system requirements, and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems
  • Understanding and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies
  • Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD-approved scanning and assessment tools
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded security
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines
  • Experience generating security (anti-tamper and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design, development, and fielding of SSE systems
  • Software, Firmware, & Microelectronics Engineering, Cryptography, and FPGA design
  • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
  • Experience in the implementation and business growth of SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle
  • Experience in solutions meeting robust SSE systems security requirements
  • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Business Administration, and/or Robotics
  • DoD Top Secret clearance with current SSBI within last 5 years desired
  • Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
  • Program management experience with SSE
  • Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S
  • Aircraft/weapons integration experience
  • Strategic planning and proposal writing skills

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. We also offer annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

This role is a U.S.-based role, and if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
