Job Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Job Summary:

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients on the Med Surg unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily rounds on all patients, ensuring quality customer service by coordinating and taking action on any requirements not met.
  • Develop a plan of care based on assessment that reflects the patient's physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs.
  • Assess the patient's condition and nursing needs, set goals, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient.
  • Identify the early warning signs of a change in a patient's condition and respond appropriately to a deteriorating patient.
  • Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate multidisciplinary team member and record those observations accurately and concisely.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Temporary RN license accepted prior to start.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.
