The Director of Technical Operations is a key leadership position at KA Recruiting Inc. responsible for overseeing the Clinical Lab staff and operations. This role reports directly to the Laboratory/Division President and works closely with the Laboratory Director to ensure the smooth functioning of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise Clinical Lab staff, including Supervisors- Microbiology, Processing, Cytology, Histology, and other employees involved in testing patient specimens.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve laboratory operations, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze laboratory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, Medical Technology, or Physical Science.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification under the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent registry is required.
  • At least five years of laboratory experience, including two years of laboratory management experience.
