Diagnostic Sonographer Opportunity

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and interpreting images to aid in diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including adjusting settings and calibrating machines
  • Interpret images to aid in diagnosis, including identifying abnormalities and documenting findings
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • ARDMS registry or ARRT (S) certification
  • Registered Vascular Specialist, or Vascular Sonography, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification within 1 year of employment start date
