SLP Clinical Fellow

About the Role:
The SLP Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients. This role is ideal for individuals with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a provisional license to practice in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans
- Measure patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Provisional license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Less than one year of clinical experience, with experience obtained in clinical rotations applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acute care experience
- Experience with video swallow studies, speaking valve, and voice prosthesis
Work Environment:
The SLP Clinical Fellow will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
