We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Brookdale Foundation House. As a Medication Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
- Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
- Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will be responsible for administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments.
- Certified Medication Aides/Techs must ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
