Position: Production Assembler for Sensor Manufacturing

At MSA, we prioritize safety and are devoted to leveraging technology to fulfill our mission of protecting people and assets globally. We are relentless in addressing our customers' most pressing challenges, ensuring they return home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the 3rd Shift from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Starting compensation is $21.38 per hour, with an additional $1.00 shift differential.
- Engage in the assembly, modification, and rework of moderately complex sensors and sub-assemblies, including combustible, electro-chemical, and infrared types.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting as required, while adhering to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain production goals by meeting productivity targets and minimizing waste.
- Perform visual inspections and minor repairs, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Accurately complete and maintain necessary documentation and data entry in the computer system.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 months of experience in manufacturing or a related field (training will be provided if necessary).
Preferred:
- Previous experience with soldering (training available).
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with standard units of measure and proficiency in using various measuring devices.
- Competence in standard software operations, including SAP.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to focus for extended periods.
- Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate across various levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work on different product groups and adapt to varying shifts.
