Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
  • Manage High-Risk pregnancy management, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, amniocentesis, and childbirth education classes.
  • Provide post-partum and mother/baby care, including nursery experience and Apgar/Routine testing.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of current OB/L&D experience.
  • Post-Partum and Mother/Baby experience.
  • Nursery experience.
  • Apgar/Routine testing experience.
  • AWHONN and STABLE certifications strongly preferred.
  • Lactation experience preferred.
  • BSN highly preferred.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
Profile Requirements:
  • Work History.
  • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year.
  • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment).
  • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, NRP).
Certification Requirements:
  • NRP.
  • BLS (AHA).
State License Requirements:
  • New Hampshire.
Additional License Requirements:
  • NH or Compact MUST be in-hand at upload.
