Overview:

The Medicine Journal seeks a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator III to oversee the clinical operations of our physician office. This role is responsible for supervision of all clinical staff members, patient flow activities, and maintaining proper scheduling requirements.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in a physician office setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with residency program operations, computer skills, and supervisory experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising clinical staff members
  • Maintaining proper scheduling requirements
  • Recommending hiring, termination, and disciplinary action for clinical personnel
  • Providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of practice physicians
  • Working with resident physicians to promote an effective learning/training environment
  • Serving as lead OSHA representative
  • Responsible for maintaining Joint Commission compliance standards

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid license to practice registered nursing in the State of Tennessee, BLS certification, and at least three years of experience in a physician office setting. A bachelor's degree is preferred. The Nurse Licensure Compact will not change how to obtain or renew a Tennessee license.
