We are looking for licensed educators and individuals holding a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 credit hours in Special Education, who are willing to pursue an additional 18 credit hours through our Tuition Reimbursement Program, available immediately upon hire. Supervision will be provided by a Certified Special Education Teacher.

New Story Schools is in search of dedicated Special Education Teachers to instruct and guide students with Autism Support and Emotional Support needs in grades K-12. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the success of our students while managing the classroom team and ensuring effective collaboration among all staff members.

Compensation: Pay ranges from $50,000 to $70,000, depending on educational qualifications, certification levels, and years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement suitable services.
  • Provide leadership and direction to classroom staff.
  • Ensure student confidentiality in accordance with agency policies, FERPA/HIPAA regulations, and counselor confidentiality.
