Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative School Psychologist to join our team at Coastal Lakes College. As a key member of our Positive Support Team, you will work closely with staff, students, and parents to provide specialist psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students, and you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to promote student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessment and diagnosis to students, staff, and parents.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans to support student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to develop and implement effective strategies to promote student mental health and wellbeing.
  • Provide professional learning and development opportunities for staff and parents to enhance their understanding of student mental health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of college policies and procedures related to student mental health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Experience working with students, staff, and parents in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
