Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality diagnostic exams, verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, following policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers.
- Contribute to the effective operations of the department, staying in compliance with quality assurance and quality control.
- Assist in the training of students and new hires.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Training gained at the student level.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (180 days required).
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (upon hire required).
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association (upon hire required) or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross (upon hire required).
