LHC Group, a leading post-acute care provider, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Demarest, New Jersey.
About the Position:
- This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled PT to provide ongoing rehabilitation services to patients in a senior living setting.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist at LHC Group- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to enhance their quality of life.
- Implement evidence-based therapies to address patients' physical limitations and promote functional independence.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with patients and families to establish realistic goals and develop strategies for successful rehabilitation outcomes.
Requirements:
Prior Experience as a Physical Therapist- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification and any other necessary certifications or documents as required by LHC Group policy.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a senior living or geriatric setting.
Compensation and Benefits:
- An estimated annual salary range of $85,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience.
