Job Title: Clinical Research Physician

At Wake Research, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Physician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical development team, you will be responsible for providing clinical mentorship and leadership for clinical trials conduct within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise into the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external medical professionals, including local opinion leaders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement to ensure successful execution of research protocols.
  • Lead and oversee a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Evaluate study volunteer eligibility, perform physical exams, and assess study patient health through interviews and physical examinations.
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals, and review diagnostic reports to provide clinical direction to the study team.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical expertise in pharmaceutical medicine and clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
