Overview
Helio Health is dedicated to addressing and fostering recovery from the impacts of substance use, mental health challenges, and various behavioral health issues. We are currently in search of a committed and enthusiastic Therapist specializing in Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders to deliver counseling and therapeutic services to our clients within our Opioid Treatment Program.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Substance Use Therapists may qualify for a Sign-On Incentive ranging from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on licensure.
Compensation: $28.88 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload effectively.
- Conduct essential counseling tasks including screening, intake, evaluation, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, and patient education.
- Assist in training staff, volunteers, and student interns as required.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the biopsychosocial model of substance use disorders and recovery, behavioral health, and counseling principles.
- Engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and the professional community while maintaining confidentiality standards.
- Valid License (such as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, etc.) or CASAC Credential is required.
- Limited Permit Licenses are acceptable.
- Master's Degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the Human Services sector.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is necessary.
