About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Sanders Industries Holdings. This role requires expertise in programming, setting up, and operating conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of related experience or work in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of MS Office software and other documentation programs. They should be able to read and interpret documents, diagrams, and procedure manuals, and possess excellent communication skills both written and orally in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors, e.g., speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media
  • Critically think through problem-solving and respond to a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists
Requirements
  • 4-5+ years of related experience or work in a similar environment
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent or vocational training in a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office software and other documentation programs
  • Excellent communication skills both written and orally in English
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
