The Disaster Recovery Specialist plays a vital role in our team by performing production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects.
Salary Information$16-$18 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of $33,280-$37,440. Plus, a one-time $1,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Management: Inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies for each project.
- Site Preparation: Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, set up staging areas, and equip them for efficient production processes.
- Production Process Execution: Perform tasks as directed, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Communication: Collaborate with crew chiefs and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving jobsites with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain an organized warehouse space, clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds as assigned.
- Development of Expertise: Develop production expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Ongoing Tasks: Perform other duties as required by the employer.
- Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Effective Communication: Possess strong oral communication skills.
- Prior Experience: Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- IICRC Certifications: IICRC certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
This role requires regularly lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces, repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working with and around chemicals, and working overhead.
Work EnvironmentThis position involves frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, occasional exposure to extreme conditions like heat and noxious odors, and a potentially loud work environment.
Please note that occasional use of a respirator may be required for safety purposes.
