Job Overview

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our sterile compounding team in North Charleston, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Review and Interpretation: Ensure accurate review and interpretation of physician orders to guarantee patient safety.
  • THERAPEUTIC MONITORING: Detect and prevent therapeutic incompatibilities to optimize patient care.
  • PHARMACEUTICAL CALCULATIONS: Perform precise calculations to prepare medication dosages.
  • STERILE DOSAGE FORMS: Compound and package sterile medications for patients.
  • INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS: Maintain a clean and safe environment to protect patients and technicians.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT: Supervise technicians and verify their work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • PATIENT COUNSELING: Educate patients on medication therapies and answer their questions.

Requirements:

  • EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, with a focus on sterile compounding.
  • CREDENTIALS: Registered Pharmacist licensure and South Carolina licensure required. Sterile compounding certification preferred.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy required.
