About the Role

Zildjian, a leading manufacturer of musical instruments, is seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join its Maintenance Team in Norwell, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals across multiple departments and equipment to maintain a smooth and consistent production process.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and aptitude for learning new skills and systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on complex and simple mechanical systems.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and company-established safety policies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; experience or training from a vocational school or as an apprentice or journeyman preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in machining and troubleshooting with general machine shop skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete company-specific safety training.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Environmental Factors and Physical Demands
  • Required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk or hear.
  • Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
