About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Travel Physician to join our team as a Geriatric Care Specialist. In this role, you'll provide medical coverage to geriatric patients in partner facilities, including skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities.
Schedule and AutonomyYou'll have the opportunity to travel to facilities to provide medical coverage 4 days a week, enjoying creative and unlimited schedule opportunities. As a Geriatric Care Specialist, you'll also have autonomy of practice, allowing you to work independently and make decisions that best serve your patients.
Responsibilities- Round and manage clinical care for geriatric patients in partner facilities.
- Provide medical coverage to facilities, serving as an interim Medical Director when needed.
- Build relationships with facility staff, administrators, and nursing directors.
- Engage with multi-disciplinary care teams to address quality of care and patient needs.
- Complete timely documentation and billing for services provided per Curana policy.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted licensure in North Carolina or South Carolina, with ability to obtain additional licenses within 90 days
- Easy access to a major airport for frequent travel
