Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician:

  • Fulfill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Assist in monthly CII audits and maintain records for controlled substances.
  • Understand billing and dispensing procedures.
  • Stock pharmacy products and train other technicians.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.

Requirements:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) in the State of Utah.
  • Completion of required continuing education hours.
