We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Drucker and Falk, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the Maintenance Superintendent and other team members as needed, providing support with various tasks and projects.
- Inspect properties for improvements and repairs, identifying areas for enhancement and collaborating with the Maintenance Superintendent to implement solutions.
- Operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces as required, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Ensure that the grounds are free of litter and debris at all times, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Perform work orders with a focus on same-day completion, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Review work orders with the Maintenance Superintendent on a daily basis, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Superintendent, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
