We are seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to join our team at 3M Consultancy. In this full-time role, you will be working remotely and supporting a high-profile program.

Job Overview

This is a technical writing position that requires a deep understanding of system development life cycles and software project management approaches. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with Business and Technical Architecture and Engineering SMEs to develop, manage, and update various technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a highly visible and mission-critical program by developing, managing, and updating technical documentation.
  • Perform data analysis and research, presenting findings to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Agile Delivery Teams Scrum Masters to manage technical documentation.
  • Review technical documentation for compliance and approval.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and other artifacts that capture reference tables and configurations.
Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience interfacing with Business stakeholders, capturing requirements, and translating them for the larger team.
  • Knowledge of the system development life cycle and software project management approaches, including requirements, design, and testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of established and emerging data technologies, data visualization, and unstructured data.
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience working with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
  • Experience leading a project, task, or team.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of professionalism and tolerance to change.
  • The ability to commit to continuous learning to increase relevant skills.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
