Pastry Artist

Pastry Artist

The responsibilities of a Pastry Artist include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Delivering exceptional customer service, including welcoming customers and addressing inquiries.

+ Icing, embellishing, packaging, labeling, and pricing items for display cases.

+ Icing, decorating, and maintaining the freezer and refrigerated display.

+ Fulfilling customer special requests, including custom cakes for events.

+ Actively promoting products by providing customers with the necessary information to make informed choices.

+ Operating the bakery department mixer and other equipment.

+ Adhering to Baskin-Robbins guidelines for Pastry Artists.

+ Upholding high standards for product freshness and cleanliness.

+ Organizing and rotating inventory in the pastry freezer.

+ Training fellow team members as required.

+ Assisting with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

The required qualifications are as follows:

+ Must be 18 years of age or older.

+ Experience as a Pastry Decorator Apprentice or equivalent experience.

+ Knowledge of cake decorating techniques.

+ Ability to provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.

+ Capable of interpreting, understanding, and following instructions while solving problems.
