**Job Summary**

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to oversee the construction management delivery of large or multiple projects in the greater NYC Metro area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, providing exceptional client service, and delivering superior technical solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct quality reviews of construction team performance and deliverables to ensure adherence to contract documents and approved submittals.
  • Manage and document project risks, ensuring timely identification and mitigation.
  • Process contract invoices, shop drawings, RFIs, permits, and change orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with operating staff, including maintenance of facility operations, and manage project documentation tools and software.
  • Manage project schedules, track safety, and facilitate project closeout.
  • Oversee CM budget and staffing, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with team members, including owners, engineers, operators, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Experience in water/wastewater preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and related PC software packages used on design and construction projects.
