We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a travel opportunity in Hilton Head Island, SC.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience and be certified in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.

As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures, and preparing patients for imaging exams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Confirming patient identification and reviewing imaging requests
  • Assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring patients during exams
  • Demonstrating knowledge of radiation protection standards and operating intravenous pumps
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and understanding the McKesson PACS system

Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. A Vascular Interventional certificate is preferred.

IR Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
