We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Responsibilities:
  • Report any defective or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately.
  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, recreational areas, dining rooms, and other areas of the physical plant.
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and sanitized, including fixtures, mirrors, and windows.
  • Clean and maintain floors, carpets, and walls, including sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting.
  • Keep work areas organized and free of hazardous conditions.
  • Discard waste and trash properly and re-line receptacles with plastic liners.
  • Comply with established infection control and universal precaution practices.
  • Assure that work assignment areas are clean and equipment is properly stored.
  • Turn in and report lost and found items to the supervisor.
  • Set up caution and safety signs before performing housekeeping tasks.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
