Job Summary:
Wheatland Bank is seeking a highly skilled Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing loan applications, credit approvals, and other source documents to produce accurate and timely loan documents for commercial and consumer loans.

About the Role:
This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be proficient in LaserPro document generation software and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications, credit approvals, and other source documents to produce accurate and timely loan documents.
- Communicate effectively with loan staff regarding missing items and document requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with software changes and additional functionality enhancements.
- Review Credit Authorization for proper approval and determine type of loan.
- Review loan codes to ensure accurate reporting.
- Review supporting documentation to ensure receipt of all required information, including compliance with relevant loan regulations.
- Prepare required loan documents for commercial and consumer loans using LaserPro software.
- Deliver loan documents to lenders and processors for closing.
- Determine HMDA/CRA status for new, renewed, or refinanced loans for accurate reporting purposes.
- Interact with Lending staff to provide expertise on documenting and perfecting collateral.
- Interact with other team members in the department to share information and ensure an efficient and streamlined workflow.
- Update and maintain data in loan operating systems as needed.
- Assign loan numbers for new loan accounts.
- Perform additional duties, including indexing and cataloging of all documentation associated with loans into the Banks Director documentation imaging software.

About You:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years' experience in banking, preferably with proficiency in LaserPro document generation software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel is also required.
