Avera Sister James Care Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse is accountable for assisting the team by supervising, assessing, administering medications and treatments as directed, to ensure quality care and teamwork in the household, with resident-directed care. This is done in accordance with our policies, procedures, and state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities- Supervise and assess the needs of patients and residents, developing personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed, ensuring accurate dosages and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A current RN licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD.
- BLS Certification within 60 days of hire.
- An Associate Diploma or B.S. degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.

- $31.00 - $46.50 per hour, depending on experience.
