Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Chippenham Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems
  • Participate in a teamwork environment, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the department
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide well-coordinated patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotation with a call-back time of 30 minutes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1 year of experience as a Perioperative RN or completion of a Perioperative Nurse course
  • Scrubbing or surgical assistant experience preferred
  • Licensed or license eligible, as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • CNOR Certification preferred
