We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, and medical records.
- Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Explain procedures to patients, reducing anxieties and obtaining cooperation.
- Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices for optimal views.
- Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient needs and achieve departmental goals.
- Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
- MRI registry required within 6 months from date of hire for MRI registry-eligible candidates.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital-imaging department preferred.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
