We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division in Holdrege, Nebraska. This is a full-time position with a $2,000 hiring bonus.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repair of light/medium duty trucks at various job sites.
- Perform hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
- Installation of new equipment.
- Interpretation of manuals, blueprints, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Inventory control, including researching parts in manuals, completing material requisitions, and returning unused parts to vendors.
- Maintenance of equipment records and DOT inspection forms.
- Compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Travel may be required.
- 2-4 years of recent related experience preferred.
- Experience with light/medium duty trucks, hydraulics, and general diagnostic procedures.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
- OSHA-10 or ability to obtain.
- Pass a pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
