About the Role at CPC Marketing
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering and business intelligence teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines, platforms, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Sharing and Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the regular sharing of data within and outside the company, adhering to data governance best practices.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Assess the ongoing performance and usage of business intelligence tools, databases, and other systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Respond to questions in our support channel, propose solutions, and work with teams to resolve issues and identify root causes.
- Account Management and Security: Create and deactivate accounts, expand privileges when necessary, and maintain data security procedures and guidelines.
- ETL Transformation and Data Audit: Develop and maintain ETL transformation code, create data audit alerts, and respond to them in a timely manner.
- Business Partnership and Prioritization: Collaborate with various business units to assess needs, prioritize changes, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with 2+ years in a Senior Data Operations Engineer or Lead Data Engineer role.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, and SQL. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong understanding of data governance and data flow throughout the company.
