KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate the coordination of services for children and families referred to the Development Clinic, ensuring effective communication among all parties involved in the treatment process.
  • Support families in accessing services with minimal barriers.
  • Deliver community-based skills training and development services tailored to the specific needs of children and families.
  • Maintain accurate records of services to document patient progress; collaborate with families and referral sources to develop treatment plans and objectives.
  • Ensure timely documentation, data collection, and report submission in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct screenings for appropriate services; maintain professional communication, make referrals, and coordinate with community agencies.
  • Engage in team meetings with families and a multidisciplinary team of providers, advocating for children and families with complex needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance job performance.
  • Provide emergency counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is required.
  • Experience with children who have Dual Diagnoses of Serious Emotional Disturbance and Neurodevelopmental Disorders is preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain WELLE certification.
  • Ability to assess emergency situations and respond appropriately and therapeutically.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state minimum coverage requirements; must qualify for the company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Successful completion of required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screening.
