We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Linux Core Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the core compute platforms for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Requirements
  • 4+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
  • Experience troubleshooting in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
  • Contributions to upstream open source projects and/or communities.
