Automation/Industrial Electrician Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Automation/Industrial Electrician to join our team. This direct hire role involves leading projects related to assembly, installations, decommissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical automation and a vocational certificate or associate degree in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine equipment dimensions and setup requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production staff to resolve wiring and assembly issues.
  • Design and implement modifications to as-built prints and work with engineers to achieve project success.
  • Communicate effectively with management and represent the organization professionally.
  • Travel up to 30% and work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or associate degree in electrical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical automation.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and design thinking skills.
  • Experience with basic electrical fundamentals, report writing, time management, and blueprint interpretation.
