Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Assistant at Great Basin College. As a Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our faculty and staff in maintaining the college's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Maintain and repair training simulators and other equipment.
  • Manage inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Ensure the shop area is clean and organized.
  • Support instructors with projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Must be a student of Great Basin College.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
  • Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services.
  • Must be familiar with electrical tools and materials knowledge.
  • Must practice workplace and electrical safety.
Working Conditions
  • Up to 19 hours per week.
  • $13.00 per hour.
