We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator to join our team at Western & Southern Life. Key Responsibilities- Agent Licensing: Process agent licensing through a working knowledge of licensing procedures for each state, ensuring effective handling of licensing/renewal questions/problems by complying with and interpreting state insurance licensing regulations.
- Appointment and Termination Coordination: Coordinate the handling of agent appointments and terminations to ensure accurate filing of forms with individual states, providing formal communication of appointment or termination status according to Quality and Service standards.
- Customer Service: Respond to information requests within established timeframes, providing outstanding customer service to ELD clients, including agents, general agents, banks, broker/dealers, W&S Agency offices, and e-commerce providers.
- Database Management: Maintain the licensing databases for life and variable life licensing and appointments, working closely with broker/dealers to ensure agent compliance with state variable insurance licensing requirements.
- System Utilization: Utilize the E-PAL and other systems for licensing, informing Systems personnel when adjustments or updates are needed.
- Education: High school diploma/GED.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of word processing, electronic mail, Internet, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, accurate, focused, and concise manner.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload demands.
This position works in an office setting, remaining continuously in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer, or with other standard office equipment. The position requires continuous keyboarding work, repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and frequent movement around the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
