Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role focuses on medication order processing within a Long-Term Care (LTC) mail order pharmacy environment.

Position Details

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Medication Order Specialist
Work Environment: Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently input medication orders into the pharmacy system while adhering to prescription guidelines.
  • Thoroughly review and confirm orders to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of all processed medication orders.
  • Support various pharmacy operations as necessary, including participation in rotating weekend shifts.
Shift Information
  • Hours: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Familiarity with medication order entry is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician License.
  • PTCB Certification is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced setting.
