We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join our team at Maxim Healthcare for a 4-6 month temporary role in Austin, TX. This part-time opportunity will involve providing patient evaluations and treatment plans on a one-day-a-week basis.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
- Assess and document emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders
- Document Psychiatric Consultative Medical Examinations (PCME) results for patients in accordance with Texas civil commitment criteria
- Manage a patient load of 4 daily
- Completed an ACGME-approved psychiatric residency
- Licensed to practice in Texas (or willing to apply)
- Current DEA license, Board Certified or Eligible in Texas
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Experience with PCME's and Texas civil commitment criteria
